Senergy bags Bergermeer job

Energy services company Senergy said today it has been awarded a contract by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) for work on the Bergermeer Gas Storage project in the Alkmaar region of the Netherlands.

Senergy’s workscope is to do provide front end engineering and design verification and detailed design for managed pressure drilling services on the development, said Senergy in statement.

On completion the Bergemeer storage facility will have an initial working volume of 4.1 billion cubic metres.

Commercial operations are expected to start in 2013.
